2026 Summer Internship Application

BCA is seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic candidates for summer internships to collaborate on projects with our civil engineering and land development design teams.

Qualifications
  • Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • Desire to work in land development post-graduation
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D (preferred)
  • Participation in professional societies (preferred)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and present valid documentation
  • Must have reliable transportation to the BCA Nashville office (overnight travel is not anticipated)

Duties

The selected candidate will be performing basic civil engineering tasks such as zoning research, development of production plans using AutoCAD, development of reports, attending meetings, assisting with field observations, quantity takeoffs/cost estimations and project administrative duties.

Position Details

Work Location: BCA’s Nashville office (6606 Charlotte Pike, Suite 210, Nashville, TN 37209)
Work Season: May 2026 through August 2026
Work Hours: 40 hours a week; Monday through Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wage Range: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
Employment Type: Seasonal full-time employee
