New riverfront water and play park in downtown Nashville. Design components include drainage, erosion control, and water and sewer extensions to serve the park. Required a series of variances from the Stormwater Management Committee and mitigation was provided through the capture of first flush flows from an asphalt parking area, rainwater harvesting cistern, and water quality units and infiltration trenches. Also included were public main extensions for water and sanitary sewer to serve the park. Close coordination and approvals were required with TDEC for construction stormwater and soil management.
