We are excited to announce the details of our Summer Internship for 2024!
Qualifications: BC&A is seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic candidates for summer internships to collaborate on projects with our civil engineering/land development design teams. Candidates must be either a Junior or Senior year student pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university. A desire to work in land development post-graduation, knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D, strong problem solving and communication skills, and participation in professional societies are advantageous qualities. Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States and present valid documentation. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation for potential out of office assignments. Overnight travel is not anticipated.
Duties: The selected candidate will be performing basic civil engineering tasks such as zoning research, development of production plans using AutoCAD, development of reports, attending meetings, assisting with field observations, quantity takeoffs/cost estimations, and project administrative duties.
Position Details: Office Location – 6606 Charlotte Pike, Suite 210 Nashville, Tennessee 37209
Work Season – May 2024 through August 2024
Work Hours – 40 hour a week; Monday through Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wage Range – $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
Employment Type – Seasonal Full-time Employee
